From Cornate D’Adda, Italy, comes the voice of Sister Annarosa Crippa: a story that intertwines faith and service, a concrete sign of integral ecology lived with the Laudato Si’ Center.

During the week I spent in San Damiano, I felt a growing desire within me to contemplate Creation and life with the humility of creatures, following the example of St. Francis. Walking among these places, immersed in the beauty of nature, made me feel the embrace of the Creator in everything: a profound communion that renewed my heart.

At first, participating in the volunteer program seemed like a challenge: I was afraid I would not be up to it. But soon this experience proved to be a precious gift from God. Every act of service, every encounter, and every moment of prayer brought me back to the true meaning of my vocation: to live and promote the values of Laudato Si’, bringing them to my community and incorporating them into my apostolic and missionary planning.

Volunteering at San Damiano is not just an activity, but a path of inner growth, fraternity, and concrete commitment. Here, you learn that caring for our common home, serving others, and spirituality are intertwined, transforming your life and giving you new energy for the common good.

Together we can protect our common home: your contribution matters.
