Join the Laudato Si’ Jubilee Pilgrimage to Assisi
From 3 to 7 June 2025, Catholics from around the world will gather in Assisi, the home of St. Francis. Together, creation pilgrims will grow in relationship with the Creator of all, guided by the team of Assisi Terra Laudato Si’.

Laudato Si' Retreats
Assisi is a privileged place to experience a Retreat immersed in the beauty of nature and in Franciscan spirituality, through walking and silence.
Immersion in the silence of the forest
Immersive experiences in contact with creation for youth under 35.
Excursions to Franciscan shrines
Guided tours to Laudato Si' sites to learn about the integral ecology of St. Francis and in St. Clare.
In-person training
In-depth courses on action-oriented integral ecology issues.
Volunteer service
Opportunities to live in Assisi for a period, serving and experiencing moments of formation and prayer in the city of St. Francis and St. Clare.

“Assisi: Terra Laudato Si’” is a collaborative project between the diocese, the Franciscan families (OFM, Conventuals, Capuchins, Roman VI), the Laudato Si’ Citadel (formerly known as the “Cittadella” of Pro Civitate Christiana), FAI, and the municipality of Assisi. The project is facilitated by the Laudato Si’ Center, home of the Laudato Si’ Movement located within the Laudato Si’ Citadel.
On Pentecost 2023, the project was announced by Bishop Sorrentino and blessed by Cardinal Czerny in a celebration in the Garden of the Canticle.
