Laudato Si’ Jubilee Pilgrimage Information
Laudato si’ mi Signore, cum tucte le tue creature.
Eight hundred years ago, St. Francis sang his praise to God. His melody still resonates today, after centuries, fresh and relevant. To understand it better, we suggest an immersive, communal journey through the places that saw the birth of this prayer.
Register your interest here and we’ll be in touch to confirm your participation.
What will we do?
- The pilgrimage will open with a community moment on June 3, followed by a welcome dinner together and then a free evening.
- On the following three days, pilgrims will be divided into three groups. Each group will follow the pilgrimage themes, visiting all of the Laudato Si’ Places.
- Breakfast and dinner will always be shared, while lunch will be packed.
The itineraries over the three days are as follows:
- Day of the song of creation: Cittadella – San Damiano, Eremo delle Carceri – Cittadella
- Day of the cry of creation: Cittadella – Porziuncola, Lyrick, Maddalena, Cimitero inglese, Sacro Tugurio – Cittadella
- Day of action: Cittadella – Piazza del Comune, Plateola, Chiesa Nuova, Santa Chiara, Spogliazione, Sacro Convento, Fondo Antico Codice 338, Basilica – Cittadella
The closing moment:
- On the evening of June 6, we will gather in the outdoor amphitheater for the closing moment, with a Mass in Creation and final sharing.
- On the morning of June 7, some pilgrims may choose to go to Rome to participate in the Jubilee of Movements with Pope Francis.
