Laudato Si’ Pilgrimage Information

Laudato si’ mi Signore, cum tucte le tue creature

Eight hundred years ago, St. Francis sang his praise to God. His melody still resonates today, after centuries, fresh and relevant. To better understand it, we suggest an immersive, communal journey through the places that saw the birth of this prayer: the places of ASSISI Terra Laudato Si’

Post-Conference Pilgrimage to “ASSISI Terra Laudato Si'”
Economy of Francesco Conference

Given the roots of Economy of Francesco in the sacred land of Assisi and the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of the Creatures this year, a special pilgrimage will be organized to Assisi immediately after the EoF conference, from the afternoon of November 30 to December 2.

Organized by the Laudato Si’ Center of Assisi, the pilgrimage will visit some of the most special Franciscan sanctuaries to savor the interconnected messages of Laudato Si’, the Canticle of the Creatures, and Economy of Francesco.

(Nov 16 deadline)

What will we do?

  • Departure from Castel Gandolfo will be Sunday, November 30 at 3 p.m. Arrival in Assisi around 6:30 p.m.
  • The pilgrimage will open in Assisi with a welcome dinner on Nov. 30, followed by a free evening.
  • On the other two days, pilgrims will experience the three pilgrimage themes in immersion, and thus visit the Laudato Si’ Places.
  • Breakfast and dinner will always be shared, while lunch will be packed.

  • Dec. 2 – Itinerarie of the “cry” of creation: Morning – Portiuncula, Roseto (Giara di EoF)

The closing moment:
